Just woke from a brief but restful nap and the world is still intact at 4 PM New Year's Eve. Checked my mail (bothe real and electronic). Sorry to hear about the problems you guys are facing with the domestic environment. Looks like we have a few things to deal with this spring. If you want, try to get hold of Greg Miles while you're up there and get him to come by and assess the situation. You can leave him a key, ther is one hanging in the woodshed, and I'll send him a check when the repairs have been made. The pump and toilet issues also look like they'll need professional attention. Hope your New Year's Eve goes by without a hitch. Things look mellow down here. The Y2K has come to much of the world, and other than Yeltsin calling it quits, things are quite calm. My health has recovered, unfortunately, my dad went into the hospital with congestive heart failure last Monday, and I'm sorting of hanging out waiting to see if I need to go back East. He's stable and in a Cardiac Care Unit. But as I so often say, Hey! That's life.
